newsletter this moment brought me to my knees
Hey ,
It took looking around and realizing I had everything I’d ever wanted to finally say, "enough’s enough."
For so long, I chased more — more success, more revenue, more visibility. I thought that if I just kept pushing, I'd finally arrive at this place of ultimate fulfillment.
But one moment in particular brought me to my knees, where I had no choice but to pause and reflect. I looked around. And I realized… I was already there.
I had everything I’d ever wanted, and yet, the constant pursuit of moreness threatened to take it all away. More is not more. More can sometimes be the thing that pulls you further from what actually matters.
I refuse to sacrifice having everything I ever wanted — peace, freedom, joy — in the pursuit of vanity metrics, overcommitment, and acceptance into circles that don’t truly align with me.
A beautiful marriage, a peaceful home, a healthy child, a flexible calendar, and loyal relationships.
That’s it. For me, that’s the goal. That’s the kind of success that actually matters.
A Personal Moment of Realization
There was a time when I thought the next milestone would bring me peace.
When I hit my first six figures, I thought, okay, now I can breathe. But then I moved the goalpost — next, it was multiple six figures, then seven.
I was running on a treadmill, constantly increasing the speed, never allowing myself to step off and enjoy the view.
Then one day, I hopped off a zoom meeting that drained the life out of me, and I sat in my desk with my head in my hands. My daughter was in the next room playing with her nanny, and here I was, fighting over issues in the business... when I so badly wanted to be in that other room.
I looked up and saw it — the very life I had worked so hard for was right in front of me, and yet, I was missing it.
What the f*** was I doing?
That was my wake-up call.
I had to ask myself: What’s the point of building something if I’m too busy to enjoy it?
The Lesson: Success Should Serve You, Not Drain You
We live in a world that glorifies the hustle — the idea that if you’re not constantly striving for the next milestone, you’re falling behind.
But here’s the truth: there will always be another goal, another benchmark, another level to reach. The real question is — does the pursuit align with the life you actually want? And when’s enough, good enough?
Because what’s the point of working so hard if it pulls you further away from the things that make your life feel rich and whole? What’s the point of achieving everything on paper if, in the process, you become a stranger to yourself and the people who matter most?
Too often, we are sold the idea that success comes at the cost of peace, that ambition and contentment can’t coexist. But that’s a lie. You do not have to trade your well-being for achievement. You do not have to sacrifice your most meaningful relationships for external validation. You do not have to spend your entire life chasing a finish line that keeps moving further away.
Instead of blindly chasing "more," ask yourself:
Is this next goal adding to my happiness, or is it distracting me from it?
Am I working toward something that aligns with my deepest values, or just following what others define as success?
What would it look like to achieve more peace instead of just more accolades?
Who am I becoming in this pursuit, and is that someone I truly want to be?
The Shift: Redefining Success on Your Terms
For me, success isn’t just about scaling businesses, hitting milestones, or being recognized in certain circles. True success is waking up excited, feeling deeply connected to the people I love, and having the space to enjoy what I’ve built. It’s knowing that I’m building something that supports my life — not a life that only exists to support my work.
And what I’ve realized is that sometimes, choosing to pause is actually the most powerful form of growth. Because when you slow down, you can see more clearly. You can realign, make intentional choices, and ensure that your efforts are leading you somewhere you actually want to go.
A Small Exercise to Reframe Your Definition of Success
If this resonates with you, I encourage you to take a moment today to do this simple reflection:
Write down three things you once wished for that you have now.
Let yourself feel the gratitude for how far you’ve come.
Ask yourself: What am I currently chasing that might already be present in my life in another form?
Sometimes, we’re so focused on the future that we don’t even realize we’re already living in what used to be our dream.
Let’s Build Your Idea of Freedom Together
This level of freedom I desire in my own life, is something that I carry into every masterclass, keynote and curriculum that I create for anyone else.
I truly believe that we CAN design a beautiful life, one that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside…
And I think one of the most powerful vehicles for getting there is building a Freedom-Based Business.TM
Today and tomorrow, I’m teaching my signature masterclass on how to tap into the power of masterful marketing to build a business that becomes the vehicle to a level of freedom you’ve been craving. It’s the only time this year I’m teaching it, and I’d love to see you there.
If you’re ready to slow down and do less, without sacrificing the abundance… this may be exactly what you’re looking for.
XO,
Natalie

⏳ I had some really big decisions to make last week, and honestly, ChatGPT was the best life coach I could have asked for. Instead of giving me an answer, I had it ask me 5 questions to help me decide. The clarity it gave me? Insane. Try it next time you’re feeling stuck.
🌿 Meghan Markle just soft-launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever, leaning into a cozy, elevated homemaking aesthetic. The real lesson? She’s doubling down on the story she’s already known for. Love it or not, it’s a masterclass in personal brand expansion. 👀

The "Enough Audit"
Grab your journal or open your notes app and set aside 10 intentional minutes today.
List out your current big goals. Write down each ambition you're currently pursuing.
Reflect honestly: Next to each goal, answer these two questions:
"Is achieving this goal genuinely going to enhance my happiness, or is it distracting me from fully enjoying my life right now?"
"If I achieve this goal, will it align deeply with my core values and desired lifestyle, or am I chasing someone else's definition of success?"
Choose Clarity: Look at your answers and identify one goal that might be pulling you away from what truly matters. Can you simplify or pause it for now to make space for more peace, presence, and genuine fulfillment?
Remember, the true power of success comes from intentionality — not constant hustle.
