I’m writing to you from a beautiful home in The Cotswolds, which is quite literally one of the most serene places I’ve ever been. Picture miles of green rolling hills, quaint villages, and breathtaking views. It’s so magical ✨
Last week we hosted our Life & Business Reset Retreat here for 9 amazing women and it was truly INCREDIBLE. 🥰
We spent the week doing breathwork, nervous system regulation, yoga, nature walks, eating the most delicious meals, connecting, collaborating, and creating space for each person to envision the next chapter of her life/ business.
I LOVE hosting these types of in-person retreats where we can go SO deep into areas that help create a quantum leap forward in health, wealth, relationships, business, and more.
I’m obsessed with meeting women on a similar journey who are doing the work, committed to their growth, and building businesses that positively impact others!
So , I’d love to do a quick check-in with you on where you’d love to push the reset button in your life/business. ⬇️ ⬇️
🤍 Stop Chasing Exercise
Last week I shared some really powerful questions you can ask yourself to start this new quarter. I hope you took the time to answer those… and if you didn’t, I encourage you to do so this week! It’s not too late 🙂
There’s a layer deeper I’d love to go with those of you who want to create more clarity, become super intentional with your time, energy, and resources + release old habits that are keeping you stuck/ stagnant.
You’ll want to set aside 30 minutes (ideally) for this exercise and you can do it on your evening walk, sitting in the sunshine, or wherever you get the most quiet time to think and reflect!
So, let’s get started.
1️⃣ Take a deep breath in through your nose and a long, slow exhale out of your mouth. Letting go of your day, your worries, what’s coming up next, or what happened just before. Simply be present in the moment with your breath.
2️⃣ Now, imagine yourself in one of your favorite places in the world. Paint the most vibrant picture, smell the smells, and feel how amazing it is to be there. Notice how content and peaceful you feel. Maybe even smile and pause to enjoy the stillness of just being there.
3️⃣ Next, ask yourself these questions and without judgment, write down your answers or say them out loud:
What am I chasing?
Why am I sharing that thing and what does it give me?
What’s been driving me?
Where am I putting my happiness on hold?
What do I really want - more than anything?
Am I willing to focus ONLY on the things that matter most?
4️⃣ Take your time to answer these questions without editing and give yourself space to reflect on what this new information could mean for your life/business as you know it.
Chasing “MORE” and thinking “I’ll be happy when…” has become the new norm and it leaves people feeling completely burned out, exhausted, and stuck making decisions that don’t truly support what matters most.
I know this place intimately and I’m sure you do too, .
It’s why I wanted to create the Reset Retreat and support women in not just asking themselves these questions, but then putting the answers to WORK in their lives/businesses…
Because when you stop chasing things you don’t really care about, and instead start pouring your time/energy/resources into what DOES matter - your entire life changes for the better. 🤍
