A couple of years ago, I sought out and invested in (and shared with friends, so they could too!) a brand that has completely exploded in the UK ecommerce space: Tala.

I’m a big believer of going after what I want, rather than waiting for it to find me… so a cold email landed me one of my most successful investments to-date. I’m also a big fan of pulling up other seats to the table, so I brought in one of my best friends to invest alongside me.

Last month, Grace Beverley, Tala’s founder, went viral (yet again) for a huge milestone… they hit $1M in under one hour of a brand new drop.
