good enough
Hey ,
This week’s email may be a little different than the ones you’re currently receiving.
I want to talk about redefining success and building a business that supports your life—not one that consumes it.
But first, a question:
Have you ever stopped to think about how much is enough? Enough money, enough work, enough growth.
It’s a question I started asking myself a couple of years ago, and it completely changed the way I approach life and business.
My Wake-Up Call
There was a time when I said yes to almost everything. Partnerships, side gigs, projects—if it offered a paycheck, I was in.
At first, it felt great. My income climbed, and my calendar filled with “opportunities.” But over time, something shifted.
The notifications piled up. My stress spiked. My days became a never-ending to-do list, and the things I actually cared about—my health, my family, my hobbies—started to slip through the cracks.
I realized I was chasing a moving target. No matter how much I earned, it never felt like enough.
One day, I asked myself: “What am I really working toward?” And more importantly:
“What would happen if I stopped chasing more and started focusing on enough?”
Defining Your “Enough” Number
For me, the answer started with a simple exercise. I sat down and calculated exactly how much money I needed to live my ideal life—not just survive, but thrive.
This became my enough number.
It wasn’t about maximizing my income or aiming for endless growth. It was about creating a sustainable business that supported my goals:
Quality time with family
Maintaining my health and energy
Pursuing passions outside of work
Financial security without burnout
Everything beyond that number became a bonus—not a reason to sacrifice more of my life.
Breaking the “More” Mentality
The pressure to constantly do more, earn more, and achieve more is everywhere. Social media is full of stories of entrepreneurs grinding 24/7 to hit eight-figure milestones.
What those stories often leave out is the cost:
The relationships strained or lost
The health issues ignored
The emptiness of reaching a goal that doesn’t bring joy
Here’s the truth: success isn’t a race to see who can accumulate the most. It’s about aligning your work with the life you want to live.
Building a Freedom-Based Business
Once I embraced my enough number, everything changed.
Instead of working endlessly, I started working intentionally. I created boundaries and focused on what mattered most:
Time: I limit my workweek to 30-40 hours. My evenings are for family, and vacations mean real rest.
Health: I prioritize sleep, movement, and stress management.
Joy: I carve out space for hobbies and experiences that energize me.
Impact: I focus on projects that align with my values and genuinely help others.
This isn’t about doing less—it’s about doing what matters.
Is Your Business Supporting Your Life?
If you feel like you’re stuck on the hamster wheel, here are three steps to start shifting toward a freedom-based business:
Define Your Enough Number: Calculate the income you need to support your ideal lifestyle, then let it guide your decisions.
Set Clear Boundaries: Establish work hours and stick to them. Automate or delegate tasks that fall outside your priorities.
Focus on Alignment: Before saying yes to an opportunity, ask yourself: “Does this make my life better or just my business bigger?”
Warning Signs You’re Chasing Too Much
If you’re unsure whether you’re caught in the trap of “more,” watch out for these red flags:
You feel guilty when you take time off.
You measure your worth by your revenue alone.
You can’t remember the last time you had a true day off.
You keep telling yourself, “I’ll enjoy life once I hit [insert milestone].”
Your success feels hollow instead of fulfilling.
I’ve been there, and I can promise you: the hustle isn’t worth losing the life you’re building for.
Redefining Success
True success isn’t about how much money you make. It’s about how well your business supports the life you want to live.
For me, success looks like:
Being present with my loved ones
Waking up excited about the day ahead
Building something meaningful without burning out
Living a life that feels rich in every sense of the word
You only get one life. Make sure the business you’re building leaves space to enjoy it.
Cheers to 2025, and doing things a little differently.
XO

The 80/20 Revenue Rule
Want to create more impact with less effort? Focus on what’s driving the majority of your results.
Here’s how to implement the 80/20 rule in your business this week:
Identify Your Top Performers: Look at your revenue streams—products, services, or offers—and pinpoint the top 20% that are generating 80% of your income.
Audit Your Time: Assess where you're spending the bulk of your work hours. Are those activities directly tied to your top revenue drivers?
Double Down: Eliminate or automate low-performing tasks and redirect that energy into optimizing your top performers. This could mean improving the customer experience, refining your sales process, or increasing visibility through marketing.
Remember, you don’t need to do more to grow—often, it’s about doing less of the things that don’t move the needle.
Take 30 minutes this week to realign your focus, and watch how much lighter (and more effective) your workload feels!
